Folks, I've been to PAS on several occasions to avoid the modern day service writers at the dealership. I'll say this, the staff is friendly and very thorough. Joe Muniz the gentleman up front is knowledgeable and courteous. He'll even get you a ride home. They will promptly troubleshoot and diagnose your vehicle, providing you with detailed pictures and recommended services based on the age/mileage. This will be done via email on your customer profile so that you can conveniently approve/decline the services at the click of a button. Now here's the kicker.... I've noticed that their prices have significantly gone up over the years and are pretty much right in line with the dealer. Yes, their service is top notch and these guys are experienced automotive technicians but expect to pay premium fees. Some of these fees will leave you having a Fred Sanford style panic/heart attack in their lobby. For instance, the supplies/technology fees at the end of your receipt. If you're an educator or prior service member kindly ask for your discount, don't be rude and demand it. If you find yourself in a bad spot financially you can always apply for Synchrony financing but don't expect miracles with a 500 FICO score. If you do happen to qualify, you might even leave with promotional financing terms. My advice, do your own oil changes at home with Amsoil products(order online), replace your own cabin air filter and engine air filter with WIX products(O'Riley's). While you're at it, label them with a Sharpie so you know exactly when you did it. If you don't have a shade tree mechanic as an uncle or find it easy to trust the mechanics on craigslist and you really want to save some money you're going to have to bite the bullet and do it yourself. So fire up YouTube, bloody up your knuckles and make a few annoying trips to the auto parts store and harbor freight for some inexpensive tools. If not, drop by PAS and spend some of your hard earned money. Keep it simple because these days, time is precious. Regards,

We needed new shocks and to see if other systems needed help. The shocks were ordered and installed on that day. The car was inspected and a few other parts were suggested to be replaced. We may choose to fix these items at a later date. I appreciated detailed information that they sent to me. I plan to use this company in the future when needed.

10-26-22: Vehicle Dropped Off 01-05-23: Vehicle Picked Up Because of the extensive front suspension damage I wanted my car to be worked on by mechanics w/VW experience. I ultimately choose Premium Automotive Services because they are a locally owned & operated family business. The following is a mixed list of experiences I had in the 71 days it took them to finish my car. -I was told my car was ready for pickup & subsequently waited another 7 days bc they had failed to install a new AC condenser I notified them about multiple times. -The hood doesn’t close correctly this wasn’t even taken in consideration. -They wasted time rebuilding a front bumper support bracket that should’ve been replaced for $27 new. The bumper rebuild was done poorly and unprofessionally. -The paint job on the front bumper has orange peel & overspray. The amount of gloss and/or clearcoat used was done incorrectly fresh paint is dull compared to factory. -There are pieces missing from the honeycomb design that are broken off & large chips are missing from various sections from the front lip. -Failed to install a front lip spoiler. -I specifically informed them to be sure to repair the fog lights wiring connectors. I had to fix them myself but I am having to order a new light harness and will have to pull the bumper off again. -The fog lights have white overspray on them. -If your call isn’t answered at the location you dialed, it’s transferred to another Premium Automotive location who have no information on your vehicle. I want to be fair so I will talk about the what they did right. -There was a lot of damage that could’ve effected the alignment & smoothness of the ride & none of that is present. -The car drives really great & they detailed the interior and washed exterior body & wheels. What's disappointing that I attempted to communicate, multiple times using various methods & ended up in this nightmare because of lack of communication seems unacceptable to me. If I had read this review I would've gone elsewhere. Not having my vehicle for 10 weeks impacted me financially & all the misguided information that was being relayed made it impossible for me setup a plan of action to support myself better. I’m glad it’s over, I’m grateful to god they were able to get it done.
